Lakshita is an undergraduate at Northeastern University studying Bioengineering and Biochemistry. She has a strong interest in integrating scientific methods and engineering principles to health models.

In the lab, Lakshita contributes to brain imaging research of Alzheimer's disease mechanisms under the mentorship of Dr. Moustafa Algamal. Her work involves analyzing in vivo multiphoton imaging datasets and performing immunofluorescence staining.

In her free time, Lakshita likes to paint, play volleyball, and bake with friends.
