Axel is a rising senior at Dartmouth College studying Biology, Chemistry, and Hispanic Studies where he researches the cystic fibrosis microbiome.

Axel is assisting with the cAPPricorn-1 clinical trial and is also examining microinfarcts in relation to cortical superficial siderosis in human tissue.

Outside of work he likes whitewater kayaking, weightlifting, and hiking.
